Holiday Mini Sessions
Hey everyone! Here's my first actual blog post on my website. So, welcome and I'm hoping I can definitely make this a regular thing so you can see more images from my sessions, maybe some helpful tips or hints for you session, and more info about my work/sessions that I offer. If there is something you'd like to see a post from me about, please don't hesitate to email me and ask. I want to provide valuable posts that you want to read, so ask away.
I just recently finished up my holiday mini sessions for 2017. I found THE perfect spot for these sessions (and I'll be using this location more often for my sessions to come) with a simple set-up. I decided to pick the date of our last gorgeous weather day around here because the weather here can be amazing one day and snowing/cold the next! Or rain. Or both!
My style is definitely less is more approach, so when I'm choosing elements for props, I certainly want my families to stand out with a little accent of festive props and texture to compliment that. I pulled in a fur piece on the bench that you'll see, a small basket with pinecones, fur and simple light strand along with my antique sled, lantern, greenery and plaid throw. It was just the right amount of holiday flair without being too overwhelming. I loved every one of these sessions.
You'll see that the lighting I had for this day was STUNNING and it varied throughout the day with being absolutely perfect for each session. I'll leave you with a few from each of the sessions.
